Hair and Mineral Analysis

Levels of toxic metals and toxic chemicals in our air and water are up to 1000 times higher than ever before in recorded history.

Toxic metals are a common health problem that can damage your brain, biochemistry, and body. Many chronic conditions have underlying biochemical imbalances that if ignored, can develop into further negative symptoms.

Did you know that:

Magnesium deficiency can lead to fibromyalgia, pain, insomnia, weakness and depression?

Too much copper can result in emotional sensitivity, anxiety, depression, irritability and even skin conditions?

Dementia can be related to aluminum toxicity causing memory loss, loss of coordination, confusion and disorientation?

Are You Experiencing Any of the Following?
Common symptoms of mineral imbalances and chemical toxicity

Anxiety

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Forgetfulness

Insomnia

Fibromyalgia

High Blood Pressure

Anger

Memory Loss

Fatigue

Irritability

Hyperactivity / ADD / ADHD

Confusion

Joint

Arthritis/Osteoarthritis

” My energy level is through the roof “

Maggie introduced me to an intriguing world of minerals and toxins inside my body and how they can affect us all. Since then, she educated me on how to achieve optimal health by doing a thorough scientific hair and mineral analysis and recommending specific supplements geared to my own biochemistry. My energy level is through the roof! I sleep better, have lost weight and most importantly, I feel good every day! Thank you Maggie

Hair and Mineral Analysis

A scientific Hair & Mineral Test develops a ‘metabolic blueprint’ and reveals how your body is responding to stress. It examines 11 minerals and 5 toxic chemicals and can indicate underlying causes of certain ailments. Balanced minerals and low toxicity are key to your vitality and health.

How It Works

Get In Touch

Make an appointment to discuss your health and symptoms to find out if a hair and mineral analysis is right for you.

Laboratory Test

The test is simple, all that is required is a sample of your hair which is sent out to the lab for analysis. Results are available within 4 weeks.

Detailed Report and Analysis

Your report provides valuable information regarding your health status, your level of stress, and the types of toxic chemicals in your body as well as critical mineral and nutritional deficiencies.

Make A Plan

We work together to create a plan to repair your imbalances and get you on the road to a vibrant, healthy body and mind!

Why choose a Hair

and Mineral Analysis Test?

Z

Earlier Diagnoses

Identify the beginnings of a disease, often many years in advance of other testing methods

Z

Better Insights

The test reveals a unique metabolic world of intracellular activity which can’t be seen through other tests – tested extensively by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency)

Z

Longer Term Results

Hair analysis can provide a 3 to 6 month analysis (VERY different from blood or urine tests that ONLY provide a snapshot in time)

FAQ

Which 11 minerals does a hair test measure? (some of which may be either too high OR too low)

Calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron, coper, manganese, zinc, chromium, selenium, phosphorus.

How can unbalanced minerals affect me?

Emotional sensitivity, anxiety, depression, mood swings, and insomnia can result from a copper imbalance.  Copper in birth control pills, patches and the hormone containing IUD can drastically increase copper and reduce zinc levels in women.  Unbalanced ratios between copper and zinc reduces libido in both men and women.

Fatigue, depression, muscle weakness, joint pain and arthritis can be caused by calcium toxicity. Many people have too much calcium in their bodies, which can result in hardening of the arteries.

Magnesium deficiency can result in depression, insomnia and muscle pain like fibromyalgia. Alcohol removes magnesium from the body. Stress and too much exercise use up magnesium quickly.

Selenium is required for proper thyroid function. It also helps maintain the circulatory system, digestive organs and the reproductive system.

Which common 5 toxic chemicals does a hair test measure?

Lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic and aluminum.

How can these 5 toxic chemicals affect me?

Aluminum toxicity affects the intestinal activity and inhibits activity in the brain.

Dementia, memory and concentration loss as well as loss of coordination, confusion and disorientation can be related to aluminum toxicity.

Lead is an important cause of weak bones, osteoporosis and fractures.

Mercury is highly toxic and can cause neurological and behavioural disorders, such as tremors, emotional instability, insomnia, memory loss, neuromuscular changes and headaches. Mercury can also harm the kidneys and thyroid.

Long-term exposure to arsenic from drinking-water and food can cause cancer and skin lesions. It has also been associated with cardiovascular disease and diabetes. In utero and early childhood exposure has been linked to negative impacts on cognitive development and increased deaths in young adults.

Cadmium exposure can lead to a variety of adverse health effects including cancer and lung damage.

What's the difference between a blood test vs. a hair test?

Hair mineral analysis can give up to 4-6 months more information than other tests.

Blood, urine and saliva provide short-term or instantaneous readings, whereas a hair test provides a 3 month average or longer-term reading and is more cost effective!

A hair test screens metals including lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, aluminum and nickel. No test, including urine, stool or blood tests, can show all your heavy metals toxicities as they are buried deep in the bones, brain and organs.

What does the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the US say about hair testing?

Hair is used as one of the tissues of choice by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in determining toxic metal exposures. It reveals a unique metabolic world which cannot be seen through most other tests.

What causes mineral imbalances?
  • Stress, improper diet, too many refined carbohydrates, sugars, strict vegetarian or weight loss diets, eating the same foods every day
  • Accumulation of toxic metals from air, water, soil, food, job or hobby
  • Taking vitamins and minerals which are not compatible with your current body chemistry
  • Medications, antibiotics, birth control pills
  • Inheriting mineral patterns from parents
What symptoms can result from toxic chemicals or mineral imbalances?

Anxiety, Depression and Mood disorders

Extreme emotional sensitivity / suicidal thoughts

Fatigue

Joint Pain, Arthritis

Memory Loss

ADD/ADHD/Hyperactivity

Anemia

Allergies (food and chemical sensitivities)

Digestive Issues: Crohn’s, Colitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Insomnia

Skin conditions

Thyroid / Hormonal Imbalances

What are the benefits of hair testing?
  • Gets to the “Root Cause” of your health issues
  • Removes Toxic Chemicals
  • Rebalances your Minerals
  • Reinvigorates your body chemistry and energy!
